This was such a great podcast, Chip and Art! So many truths were tackled in a short time. We lived in Storm Lake for four years in the late 60’s, early 70’s before my husband’s job required us to live in Aurelia. However, Storm Lake remained my favorite place. I usually save several Substack columns to read in the evening but I always must read Art’s as soon as I see it posted. After reading Art’s post about Rob Sand, I drove up to Webster City to hear Rob in person.
This is a treasure, Chip. "Iowa has gone so hard core towards ignorance." Needs to be a bumper sticker! Thanks to you and Art for the honest, yet entertaining, conversation.
Really enjoyable, serious, humorous, scary- as-hell podcast. Well, worth a listen. Thanks.
Thank you, Marcy! Appreciate you listening and sharing your thoughts. Iowa would be a better place if more people listened to Art.

Thanks Marjorie! It was a real treat to chat with Art. I hope we do it again and I get to meet Peach.

Always appreciate you listening and commenting, Connie. The “Art” of conversation was a real joy for me despite the severity of many of our topics.
From Iowa farm gal to South Dakota rancher, you’re telling my story. Once again thanks for speaking the truth, Art.
