I’ve spent some time exploring the Villages of Van Buren County, and I spent a night in the Hotel Manning, long before the recent refurbishment (I believe by Terry Phillips). And I met Wendell Mohr (under different circumstances) and have him hanging in my family room.
If you make the drive across Highway 2 again, the Prairie Trails Museum of Wayne County (in Corydon) has a great exhibit on the Mormon Trail - and is overall a surprisingly excellent small town museum. (Disclosure: I'm biased since I live in Wayne County, but I stand behind my recommendation). Sounds like the evening in Glenwood and the retreat were both wonderful!
Great hanging out and making music with you Chip.
It was an absolute treat. Thank you for making it such a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Chip, this is a lovely tribute to a grand experience. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you Julie! It was a lovely experience and a lot of hard work went into its planning. Very happy to come along for the ride.

Terrific connections, thanks John!
I was lucky to experience your impromptu concert in the hotel lobby. What a treat!
Thanks Laura! I’m still spinning Kate Wolf after our conversation.
Once you've had time to sit with her songs for a while, would love to know if you have any favorites.
Looking forward to that chat!

Sounds like a stop I’ll need to make sometime, thanks for sharing Sara!
Thank you for the shoutout, Chip! ☺️🙏🏻
The Glenwood crew is excited for your arrival! That room and your sound ❤️

LOL: You know why I immediately instructed you to grab your guitars, right? I didn't want you to listen to MY playing!
You guys were GREAT!
Listening is an important part of the equation. Happy to do so next time. Just keep strumming and singing. Music is for everyone my friend.
